The Raj Vilas, Agra (Uttar Pradesh)

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was modern, spacious, and very clean with excellent facilities, making it comfortable for a good night's sleep. The pricing was fair for the size of the room.

The hotel has spacious and comfortable rooms fitted with modern amenities, but with the downside of having no windows and encountering some cleanliness issues. The bathrooms are great in size and well-equipped. The service offerings are decent but need improvement, especially in areas like room service and laundry assistance. The location is superb for tourists, especially those visiting the Taj Mahal, despite being a bit challenging to locate. The dining experience varies from excellent to needing some upgrades in equipment. Overall, the facilities are adequate with room for enhancement.

The hotel rooms were ice cold due to the cold temperature and had glass panels that didn't allow much natural light in, but they were very tidy and offered a great variety of food in many styles. The service, including room service, laundry, and tours/ticket assistance, was excellent. The location, while not the best and needing improvement, served as a good plus point for choosing this hotel as it was very close to the Taj Mahal. The dining experience was quite adequate, with a mix of Western and Indian options, although some improvements like a new toaster were needed. The facilities provided were overpriced for a 3-star hotel and lacked a view, but they were well-maintained overall.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and comfortable despite the lack of natural light, but the dining options left much to be desired. The location was ideal for exploring the center of Agra, although a bit far from the Taj Mahal. The service was average, and the overpriced facilities did not meet my expectations.

Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was far from satisfactory. Despite booking in advance and informing the hotel of our arrival time, the rooms were not available upon our arrival. The cleanliness standards were lacking, with dirty beds and bathrooms, as well as old and dusty furniture. On the positive side, the hotel offered space for children to play around, and the rooms were of a standard quality.
